We have another list of activities lined up for you this week that won’t leave you wondering what to do in the fine city of San Diego. From the San Diego County Fair and home Padres games to yoga sessions and bachelor sightings at Sunburn Pool Lounge, you won’t want to miss out on anything this week!


Wednesday, June 7th

Side Bar Industry Night

9 pm-2 am, Side Bar Nightclub

Come out to Side Bar Nightclub for industry night this Wednesday for Babes of the Beach! Watch four of the best female San Diego bartenders go head to head for a cash prize of $500. Sounds by Kyle Flesch!


Thursday, June 8th

2017 San Diego County Fair

11 am-10 pm, Del Mar Fairgrounds

The 2017 San Diego County Fair is officially in full swing with rides, entertainment, and, of course, unhealthy festival food. This year, the festival theme is “Wild, Wild West” so expect things to get a little country! The fair runs through July 4th with admission at $18 for adults ages 13 to 61; $11 for those 62 and older and for kids 6 to 12. Little ones 5 and under get in for free. However, you can buy the “Best Pass Ever” for $26, which gets you free admission for all 26 days of the fair.

Liberty Public Farmers Market

2 pm-7 pm, Near Liberty Public Market at Liberty Station

Liberty Station’s new weekly farmers market is going to be every Thursday near Liberty Public Market, off Perry Road. The farmers market has over 60 vendors, from local produce growers and specialty food purveyors, to artisan gift merchants. In addition to all the vendors, there is live music from local musicians for you to enjoy while you walk around!


Friday, June 9th

Balboa Park After Dark

5 pm-8 pm, Balboa Park

“Balboa Park After Dark,” the late-night summer event, is making its triumphant return this Friday and runs through Labor Day Weekend! Every Friday during the summer, visitors will enjoy extended evening hours at eight museums in Balboa Park, usually until 8 pm. There will also be food trucks and fun entertainment throughout the park to give people a chance to stroll the landmark at a time they might not normally visit.

Padres vs. Royals

7:10 pm, Petco Park

Come out to Petco Park this Friday and cheer them on as they face the Kansas City Royals. The ballpark is also hosting its BeerFest this night for the 21+ crowd. Tickets start at $17.

Fluxx Friday

9 pm-2 am, Fluxx Nightclub

Come out to Fluxx Nightclub this Friday and catch some sounds by DJ Bad as a part of Fluxx’s new Summer Sessions!


Saturday, June 10th

Sunburn Fitness by Bear Republic Bootcamp

11:30 am-12:30 pm, Hard Rock Hotel

Looking to get an exercise session in before living it up at Sunburn Pool Lounge? Come out to the Hard Rock Saturday morning for a bootcamp session by Bear Republic Bootcamp. Class starts at 11:30 am and takes place on the Woodstock roof of Hard Rock Hotel San Diego; please arrive at 11:15 am to check in. This is a FREE class but space is limited, so make sure you RSVP to save your spot.

Sunburn Hosted by Chad Johnson from The Bachelorette

12 pm-7 pm, Hard Rock Hotel

Calling all the single ladies who love some shirtless bachelor eye candy. Chad Johnson from The Bachelorette will be hosting Sunburn this Saturday for the launch of Single Season! This Sunburn will definitely be heating quickly so grab your tickets before they sell out!

Bitchin’ Side Bar Saturdays

9 pm-2 am, Side Bar Nightclub

Come out to Side Bar Nightclub for Bitchin’ Saturdays and take advantage of what the night has to offer. Sounds this Saturday by Craig Smoove!


Sunday, June 11th

Yoga on the Beach

7 am, Hotel Del Coronado

Treat yourself to a morning yoga session that benefits a good cause this Sunday. This fundraiser will benefit San Ysidro Health Center which provides quality health care to 92,000 patients in underserved communities. There will also be refreshments, live music, giveaways, and drawings after the class. Yoga mats and two-hour parking validation will be available. Tickets are $25.

Coronado Promenade Concerts: Marine Band San Diego

6 pm, Spreckels Park (601 Orange Avenue)

The Marine Band will be playing a series of tunes for free at Spreckels Park this Sunday! The band was founded in 1921 as a means to support the Marines’ Recruit Training Regiment and plays over 400 times throughout the year.
