Visit The Old Globe for Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas! A wonderful, whimsical musical based upon the classic Dr. Seuss book. Back for its 22nd incredible year, the family favorite features the songs “This Time of Year,” “Santa for a Day” and “Fah Who Doraze,” the delightful carol from the popular animated version of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” Celebrate the holidays as the Old Globe Theatre is once again transformed into the snow-covered Whoville, right down to the last can of Who-hash.

FAQ’s… When does the show start? Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8pm. If you show up late, no worries! We’ll let you in. Kensington lies on historic Adams Avenue and is located near Normal Heights and City Heights. The San Diego Reader called Kensington, “the only real neighborhood in San Diego.” The Kensington Club? I’ve never heard of it! The Kensington Club has been open since 1935, making it one of the oldest performance venues in San Diego. The showroom is intimate, has low ceilings and is all black. PERFECT for comedy.
